Amanda Gnau represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child support, custody, alimony, marital asset division, paternity, and guardianship. She also manages contempt and modification actions.

Attorney Gnau previously clerked for the Honorable Thomas J. Barbar of the Middlesex Probate & Family Court. As a Judicial Law Clerk, Attorney Gnau assisted in the drafting of judgments, findings, rationale, and orders in divorce, modification, and contempt matters. Through this experience, she refined her legal research and writing skills, as well as her analytical abilities.

During her time there, she earned her spot on the Dean’s List every semester. She was also a recipient of numerous academic honors, including the Dean’s Award and the New England Scholar Award. Additionally, Attorney Gnau received multiple CALI Awards–for her Divorce Practice, Contracts II, and Land Use courses. Notably, CALI Awards are given only to the student with the highest grade in the class. Lastly, Attorney Gnau was a Sandra Day O’Connor Scholar.
Before law school, Attorney Gnau graduated Magna Cum Laude from Endicott College. Much like her experience at New England Law | Boston, Attorney Gnau frequently earned her spot on the Dean’s List. She was also the recipient of the Humanities Awards and authored a self-published novel for her senior thesis.
