Turco Muñoz Supporting Domestic Violence Survivors Scholarship

The Turco Muñoz Supporting Domestic Violence Survivors Scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students, including law students, who will serve domestic violence survivors in a professional capacity upon graduation. Each year, the application period for this scholarship opens and closes during the summer months. The scholarship winner receives a $1,000 tuition payable directly to the recipient’s school. Turco Legal Presents Finch Legal Oratory Competition

Congratulations to the Eastern Region winners of the Finch Legal Oratory Competition (“FLOC”), a national speech scholarship competition! Vienna Wyler of the Waring School placed first and is moving on to compete in Nationals. Michaela Callahan of Taunton High School came in second place. Both earned scholarships for their success in the regional competition. Turco Legal partnered with the NSDA to present the FLOC in our region. We were incredibly impressed by all the high school students who participated. Thank you for the exceptional submissions!

Congratulations Newburyport High School Mock Trial Team

Attorney Damian Turco was honored to mentor the 2023 Newburyport High School Massachusetts Bar Association Mock Trial team, the members of which exhibited skill, creativity, and dedication. He and the entire Turco Legal staff could not be prouder. Well done, NHS!

Honoring NICU Awareness Month

In honor of NICU Awareness Month 2022, Turco Legal held a softball fundraiser for Project Sweet Peas in collaboration with the Greater Newburyport Bar Association. Turco Legal raised nearly $1,500 through this event. Those funds will help support families navigating the challenges of not only neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) stays and premature infant birth, but also infant illness and infant loss.

Fundraiser for Domestic Violence Services

Provider Casa Myrna

Turco Legal and JusticeApp partnered to raise awareness and funding for Casa Myrna, Boston’s largest domestic violence services provider. Casa Myrna’s comprehensive programming and supports provide survivors with the tools necessary to recover from the trauma of abuse and to begin to build sustainable self-sufficiency. Turco Legal was proud to match total contributions to this fundraiser up to $1,000.
